Detailed description of the inventionWindow sliding door (1) according to the invention is surface-mounted, externally placed, insulatedand runs on a slightly oblique slider (2) which causes the door to close tightlywindow (3) in closed position and moved slightly outwards and free from window and wall in open position.

This solves the problemwith side-hung shutters in some cases having to close almost completely to providesun protection, especially when the solar radiation (5) has an oblique angle to the window opening, see295100105110figure 7, or stand almost straight out from the facade if the solar radiation has the opposite oblique angletowards the window opening.In comparison with fixed sunshades, the window shutter is steplessly placedpossibility of optimal relationship between (protection against) unwanted solar radiation and(desirable) daylight admission.
Provided that a window sliding door can be reached from the inside, it can be easily operated manuallyfrom the inside via an openable inward-opening window, even if the shutteraccessible for manual operation from the outside.
This solves the problem that, based on hard-to-reach exterior side-hung windows,Gaps are difficult to handle manually, and thus usually require expensive engine operation.
However, the window sliding door can also be fitted with motor drive if it is difficult to access.cerated both from the outside and inside, or if one wishes to achieve some form of automaticsteering.
Since the window shutter does not protrude significantly outside the facade life, it is notsignificantly exposed to wind, which does not place as great demands on stability andattachment, compared to sun protection that is placed more or less straight out of the wall.
The construction and attachment of the window shutter can thus be made simpler thansunscreen placed straight out from the wall.

A window sliding door (1), characterized in that it is surface-mounted, externally placed, insulated and runs on a slightly oblique sliding device (2) which causes the door to close tightly against windows (3) in the closed position and is moved slightly outwards and freely from window and wall in open position.

A window sliding door according to claim 1, characterized in that it is provided with some form of soft sealing device (4) around the edge of the window shutter door which causes the window sliding door to close tightly against windows (3) in closed position.

A window sliding door according to claim 1, characterized in that it is provided with some form of closing device which maintains the window sliding door in the closed position and thus close to the window.

A window sliding door according to claim 1, characterized in that it can be placed steplessly so that a varied part of the solar radiation is let in through the window opening, see double arrow in Figures 1 and 5.

A window sliding door according to claim 1, characterized in that it (if accessible from the inside) can be easily operated manually from the inside, regardless of how inaccessible it is located for manual operation from the outside.

A window sash according to claim 1, characterized in that it does not protrude significantly outside the facade life in such a way that it becomes wind-sensitive.
